A formal evening dedicated to bidding farewell to the current exhibition of Vincenz Priessnitz in his birthplace takes place on Thursday, 1 October at 18:00.

The exhibition opened in 1999 and presented Priessnitz's life and work, the history of Gräfenberk spa, and the development of hydrotherapy. The evening's programme includes a brief lecture on the history of Priessnitz's birthplace by Mgr. Jan Petrásk and a presentation of plans for the new exhibition by Mgr. Pavel Rušar. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Marek Kubát on the lute.

Admission 100 CZK, advance booking only. Limited capacity.

A permanent exhibition in Jeseník dedicated to Vincenz Priessnitz, the local-born pioneer who put the Gräfenberg hills on the map with his cold-water cure in the 19th century. The display covers his life, his hydrotherapy methods, and the rise of the spa that drew patients from across Europe. Historic spa buildings are part of the site.
