It is never late to see the light

A music, acrobatics and dance performance that combines the choreography of CZirkidz Dance Company with a live concert by composer Karel Havlíček and the STRO.MY ensemble. The story of fragility and beauty unfolds through dance, acrobatics and original music performed live on stage.

Karel Havlíček performs with the STRO.MY ensemble and interprets songs from his 2024 album "It's Never Late to See the Light". CZirkidz Dance Company brings together artists from the Trutnov region and professional acrobats from Australia, formed through the Czech-Australian circus school CZirkidz. The company has performed at the Cirk-UFF and Letní Letná festivals.

Karel Havlíček is a Czech composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Prague and Los Angeles. He has composed music for the films "Lion Ark" and "Carpe Noctem", contributed to the trailer for HBO's "The Penguin" and worked on HBO Europe series "Terapie" and "Mamon". He received several Czech Lion nominations for "Bratři" (2024), "Profesor T" (2018) and "Mamon" (2015). He is also the composer of all ČT24 jingles. His debut album "Spoken" was released in 2020, followed by "It's Never Late to See the Light" in 2024.

STRO.MY Ensemble is an international ensemble focused on site-specific performances combining classical music with visual and performative elements. Their projects include "Koncert pro les", a European tour as part of the "Year of Czech Music 2024", the world premiere of the opera "Kafkův dopis otci" for the National Theatre in Prague, and a concert at O2 universum (autumn 2023).
