Odyssey

Odysseus (Matt Damon) was the king of the Greek island of Ithaca who, according to legend and the poet Homer, invented the famous Trojan Horse - the trick that decided Troy's fall. After the battles end, he desires only to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland). But his actions have angered the gods, and they will make his journey home as difficult as possible.

Odysseus faces giants, the enchantress Circe, and countless other perils, while Penelope at home resists the men who seek to seize her and the entire kingdom of Ithaca. The word "odyssey" itself comes from his journey full of obstacles that lead the wanderer away from his goal rather than toward it.
