Khyr Brothers (Opava, Silesia, CZ)

Khyr Brothers is a blues-jazz-rock band from Opava featuring Jan Khýr on electric guitar and vocals, Václav Khýr on drums and vocals, František Komárek on bass, and Vojtěch Špiller on trumpet. The band performs primarily original compositions, and also includes musical arrangements of poetry by Oldřich Mikuláš, Petr Skarland, and Josef Kainar in their repertoire. Their style is closest to Robben Ford and the Prague band ASPM. The band is a finalist in Blues Aperitif 2026.
