The Secret of the Jungle

Nine-year-old Elisabeth spends her summer holidays at a research station deep in the Amazon rainforest, where her father works as a cartographer. When her father falls from a ladder and her mother takes him to the hospital, Elisabeth is left to look after her little brother Leo - but she prefers reading, and Leo disappears into the jungle.

Elisabeth sets out to find him and overcomes her own fears along the way, makes a new friend, and together with Leo outwits a trio of poachers hunting rare animals in the rainforest.

Their journey takes them to the mysterious Devil's Mountain, where members of a secret tribe and their new animal companion Chlupáč - a representative of a previously undiscovered species - help them in their battle against the poachers.
