The Secret of the Jungle

Nine-year-old Elisabeth spends her summer holidays at a research station deep in the Amazon rainforest, where her father works as a cartographer. When her father is injured and her parents must rush to the hospital, Elisabeth takes charge of watching her little brother Leo - but he wanders off into the jungle. She must find him before her parents return.

So begins her journey through the unknown rainforest, where she overcomes her own fears, finds her brother, and makes a new friend. Together they must outwit a trio of poachers hunting rare animals in the jungle.

Their path leads them to the mysterious Devil's Mountain, where members of a secret tribe help them fight the poachers - and so does their new animal companion Chlupáč, a member of a previously undiscovered species.
