Odyssey

Odysseus, king of the Greek island of Ithaca, entered legend as the inventor of the famous Trojan Horse, which sealed Troy's fate. After the battles end, he desires only one thing - to return home to his wife Penelope and son Telemachus. Yet his bold deeds have angered the gods, and they have made his journey home far more difficult. This is why the word "odyssey" became synonymous with a journey fraught with obstacles that push the wanderer further from his goal rather than closer to it.

While Odysseus faces gods, giants, and the enchantress Circe, his wife Penelope at home resists the men who seek both her hand and the entire kingdom of Ithaca.
