Wolf Lost In the Poem is a solo project by Jan Žamboch (Žamboš) from Valašské Meziříčí, moving between folk and alternative music. The songs are created as a tribute to female poets — Žamboch draws inspiration from their poetic worlds and at live concerts seeks a path through darkness to light by channeling their voices.
His debut album Wolf Lost In the Poem – UNPINNED was nominated for the Anděl Award in the folk category for 2017. In spring 2024, Jan released his second album INDIGEM on the Tranzistor label, dedicated to Czech female poets, featuring collaborations with Pavel Koudelka (DUNAJ) and Zdenek Holoubek (PETIT PIGEON). This album also received an Anděl nomination.
