In the Heart of the Wilderness

James Belmont (Brad Pitt), a retired military expert, sets out into the Alaskan wilderness with his dog Odin - a German Shepherd named Uber, also a war veteran - on an expedition. The journey becomes complicated when James, due to a health issue, loses control of a small aircraft and crashes.

Both have survived combat zones and know they can rely on each other completely. Now, after the plane crash, they must navigate the Alaskan wilderness, where danger lurks at every turn, and find their way back to civilization.
