The Secret of the Jungle

Nine-year-old Elisabeth spends her summer holidays at a research station deep in the Amazon rainforest, where her father works as a cartographer. When her father is injured and her parents must travel to the hospital, Elisabeth takes charge of her younger brother Leo - but he wanders off into the jungle. She must find him and bring him home before her parents return.

Her journey takes her into uncharted rainforest, where she encounters three poachers hunting rare animals. Together with her brother and a new friend, they manage to outwit the poachers - helped by members of a mysterious tribe and a furry companion named Chlupáč, who belongs to an undiscovered species.

This adventure film for children reaches its climax on the mystical Devil's Mountain.
