Mirek Kemel

Miroslav Kemel is a man of two careers. Since 1991, he has supplied Czech media with his cartoons - gradually Lidové noviny, Hospodářské noviny, MF Dnes, and since 2014 Právo - and accompanies them with articles and commentary in various magazines.

Kemel has also been a musician since his youth, though he released his first album only in 2011. As a musician, he performs under the colloquial form of his first name and strictly separates both activities: his songs are introverted and poetic, and humor from his cartoons is not to be found in them.
