Samurai and Prisoner

Japan, 16th century. Samurai Araki rebels against the tyrannical Oda and finds himself besieged in his mountain fortress, where mysterious deaths begin to mount. An atmosphere of fear and suspicion eventually drives him to an unexpected step - he forms an alliance with his former enemy, the envoy Kuroda, whom he has held prisoner in his dungeon.
