Dekáda s mappou: Aldana Duoraan & Tomáš Niesner + Kraľovany + Richard Hronský

The tenth anniversary of the mappa music label will be celebrated with a concert in the early Gothic church in Kraskovo.

The programme features three performances rooted in traditional music - stripped of historical layers and open to earthiness, spontaneity and improvisation.

Programme:

- 18:00 Richard Hronský - sound and visual artist, curator and modern wandering troubadour. He travels through Novohrad and Malohont to the legendary south: everything he hears on the roads he sketches in his notebook; everything he sees he turns into music through improvisation.

- 18:45 Kraľovany - Štefan Kratochvíl and Martin "Noso" Nosál. They bring zithers to Kraskovo, multi-string instruments once extremely popular in Hungary for home playing, and will perform an improvised set over old songs collected in Podpoľanie, Hont and Novohrad.

- 19:30 Aldana Duoraan & Tomáš Niesner - the sound of the khomuz (a type of jaw harp) meets minimalist guitar melodies and intertwines with them in a dialogue full of playfulness and meditation.
