Cycle Buses Prostějov 2026

For the 2026 season, FTL – First Transport Lines in cooperation with the city of Prostějov is launching another year of cycle bus service. Two main routes are operated by FTL: the Prostějov – Plumlov – Drahany – Rozstání – Baldovec – Jedovnice cycle bus (route 780843), running every Sunday and on state-recognized holidays from April 3 to September 28, 2026, and the Prostějov – Olomouc – Sobáčov – Mohelnice – Bouzov cycle bus (route 780848), running every Saturday from April 4 to September 26, 2026. ARRIVA operates the Prostějov – Protivanov – Boskovice route (final stop for cyclists at Buková) on weekends and holidays from June 6 to September 28, 2026. All cycle buses depart from the bus station in Prostějov. The trailer capacity is 20 bicycles. Cyclists must help with loading and unloading bikes and secure their bikes in the trailer with their own lock – the carrier is responsible for them once stored. Valuable items easily removable from the bike must be taken on the bus. FTL routes allow advance seat reservations for bikes. The cycle bus service is financially supported by the city of Prostějov; the total amount for the two FTL routes in 2026 is 366,089 CZK excluding VAT. Cycle buses make it easy to enjoy cycling in the attractive areas of Drahanská Highlands, Moravian Karst, or the Bouzov region.
