Dark Blue World

Concert premiere of the film with a symphony orchestra

The main film of the 11th International Festival of Film Music and Multimedia Soundtrack Poděbrady 2026 will be Dark Blue World. The film will be presented in concert form - a live soundtrack performed by the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic under conductor Adam Klemens.

A Czech war drama by Jan Svěrák (screenplay by Zdeněk Svěrák) follows the fates of Czechoslovak fighter pilots in the RAF during World War II. The film's music combines nostalgic period melodies by Jaroslav Ježek with the dramatic score by Ondřej Soukup.
