Flowers and Glass - Floral Design Workshop with Karolína Žáčková

A floral design workshop led by Karolína Žáčková, a two-time Czech Republic floral design champion, multiple winner of the Děčín Anchor competition, and Czech representative at the World Cup Floral Art 2025 in The Hague. Under her guidance, participants will create their own floral arrangement in a vase from Czech glassmakers in the Crystal Valley.

The programme covers practical floral design techniques step by step, composition and material work, and a showcase of current trends. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced participants.

The price includes all materials, fresh flowers, and a vase from Crystalex or Sklárny Jílek from the basic selection. More expensive vases can be selected and purchased at Lidové sady before the workshop begins.

The workshop is part of the Crystal Valley Week glass festival, taking place in Liberec from 24 to 29 August 2026. The festival includes exhibitions in the botanical garden (works by Miluše and René Roubíček, Jiří Pačinka, and Lukáš Jabůrek), a new exhibition "A JE TO!" by Maxim Velčovský, the Lasvit Splash exhibition, exhibitions dedicated to Czech glass beads, Crystal Boxes in the streets, and a Crystal Tram.
