Head to Moscow!

In 1989, Switzerland was shaken by a scandal that has since faded from memory - secret services revealed that the state had been monitoring more than 700,000 people because of their political beliefs.

Against the backdrop of this historical scandal, an eager police officer Viktor Schuler is sent by his superiors to the Zurich Schauspielhaus to monitor the left-wing theatre scene. But he soon becomes absorbed in the chaotic world of artists and falls in love with actress Odile Lehmann, whom he is supposed to spy on. Increasingly, he begins to doubt the purpose of his mission.
