Bardot Girls

Three friends - Meda, Iva, and Valerie - have known each other since university, and they're well past twenty, in fact three times past it. Headstrong Meda struggles alone with her wild garden and life itself. Iva yearns for something more than the sight of her husband, who has elevated the sofa to a throne and made doing nothing his life philosophy. Valerie, meanwhile, on the other side of the world, effortlessly collects lifetime achievement awards in real estate - though she certainly doesn't look that old.

It's Valerie who brings new energy and conviction to all three of their lives: if they don't start living again, no one else will do it for them. They catch their second wind - or rather, their third, since talking about a second one after sixty is difficult. They embark on a wild party, visit a coffee shop, and eventually end up at a vineyard, where after a few glasses they discover they've been hiding one big secret from each other all along.

A film full of laughter, wine, and the conviction that age is just a number.
