Flowers and Glass - Floristry Workshop with Juan Carlos Semiday

An international floristry workshop with designer Juan Carlos Semiday focusing on modern floral arrangements in Czech glass. The workshop will showcase European trends, combining exotic flowers with Czech minimalism and working with clean lines and elegant compositions.

The price includes all materials, fresh flowers, and a vase from Crystalex or Sklárny Jílek from the basic selection. More expensive vases can be selected and purchased at Lidové sady directly before the workshop.

The event is part of the Crystal Valley Week glass festival, taking place in Liberec from August 24-29, 2026. The festival features the exhibition "A JE TO!" by Maxim Velčovský, the Lasvit Splash exposition, and works by glass artists such as Miluše and René Roubíčkovi, Jiří Pačinek, and Lukáš Jabůrek in the Botanical Garden. Representatives of a Brazilian indigenous tribe, who have used Czech glass beads for generations in jewelry-making, will present the phenomenon of Czech glass pearls. A Crystal Tram will travel through the city streets, and the Crystal Boxes will showcase another part of the festival. A mosaic created specifically for this event will decorate the Liberec Zoo.
