Art History Course: Pre-war and Post-war Years

The course focuses on the 1920s with emphasis on the local art scene and its resonance after World War II.

We will follow artists gathered in Bílovice nad Svitavou, explore surrealist Brno of the 1930s, and through texts by Dušan Jeřábek, Zdeněk Rotrekl, and Ivan Blatný, approach Moravian interwar culture.
