In the Mood for Love

The story unfolds in the 1960s in a Hong Kong apartment where two married couples move in independently: journalist Chow with his wife, and beautiful secretary Li-zhen with her husband. Their spouses spend much time away on business, so Chow and Li-zhen spend lonely evenings together. But everything changes when suspicions of infidelity arise regarding their partners.
