Casablanca

An American named Rick Blaine runs a nightclub in Casablanca during World War II - a place where those seeking false passports or a game of chance come to find refuge.

One day, Victor Laszlo, a fighter against fascism (a man of Czech origin according to the script, despite his Hungarian name), arrives at Rick's bar with his wife Ilsa. They are searching for a visa and want to escape from the Gestapo to the USA as quickly as possible. Rick recognizes in Laszlo's wife his former lover. Soon they reunite and begin planning their escape together...
