Bezmez x Moon Noize

The roaming boutique festival Bezmez x Moon Noize takes place from 20 to 23 August in Velké Meziříčí and its surroundings. It was created by merging the local festival Bezmez with the roaming event Moon Noize, which since 2020 has been held under the patronage of the Full Moon magazine and the Heartnoize promoter platform in three locations - Mariánské Lázně, Prachatice, and Chomutov.

The festival opens on Thursday 20 August in the evening at Jupiter Club and runs until Sunday noon. The evening programme takes place mainly in the area near Fajtův kopec, where camping space is available. The daytime programme is spread across various locations in the city centre: the patio of Luteran Gymnasium, the Vysočina bridge under the D1 motorway, a small square by the Kotva department store, the Church of the Holy Cross on Špitální, and the lookout tower on Fajtův kopec.

The programme features over forty events and includes music, visual art, and accompanying activities. From the open music call came AV shows by producer Ameline, the project of Eliška Lubojatzká performing as Ashen Foals, and acoustic guitar compositions by Slovak musician Michal Berec. The programme also includes a groovy set by producer counta, an author reading by Marek Šindelka (Systémy něhy), the performance Growing Pains by Karolína Auzká and Julie Popovyčová, the music-projection series Screening.13 in the Jupiter Club cinema hall, and screenings as part of the MUTE Cinema directly in the area. From 1 August, two art exhibitions are on view at Nemezis Gallery: the collective exhibition Nevyslovená rána and the solo exhibition Exuvie by Michaela Nováková. From the accompanying programme: morning yoga, piercing, tattooing, and a fortune-teller's session.

Tickets are on sale at GoOut.cz for 850 CZK (plus fees). Festival capacity is limited; only a very limited number of day tickets will be available on site, as well as a limited number of passes for Velké Meziříčí residents.
