Odyssey

Odysseus (Matt Damon), king of the Greek island of Ithaca, is credited with devising the legendary Trojan Horse that played a decisive role in Troy's fall. After the battles end, he yearns for only one thing - to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland).

Yet his bold deeds have angered the gods, who decide to make his journey home as difficult as possible. This is why the word "odyssey" became synonymous with a voyage full of obstacles that lead the wanderer away from his goal rather than toward it.

While Odysseus battles gods, giants, and the enchantress Circe, his wife Penelope faces suitors at home who seek to claim both her and the kingdom of Ithaca.
