Hradby Samoty 2026

The fifteenth edition of the Hradby Samoty festival of experimental audiovisual art takes place on 21 and 22 August 2026 at Moravany Castle.

Hradby Samoty is a space - a temporarily inhabited world in historic buildings undergoing restoration, bearing traces of time, memory, and decay. The genius loci here is not mere backdrop but an active part of what unfolds.

Sound, image, and body merge into a single stream: from ambient textures and noise structures through pulsing techno and tekna rhythms to the extreme registers of black metal and projects at the edge of definition. Visual works do not exist alongside the programme but in direct contact with the space - they grow through it, disrupt it, and transform its meaning. Performances, interventions, and situations appear and disappear without fixed framework, as part of one living whole.
