Obsession

Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man hopelessly in love with his coworker Nikki (Inde Navarrette) - but his feelings are matched only by his inability to ask her out. In desperation, he reaches for a dubious trinket from a pawn shop that supposedly grants one wish. He doesn't hesitate: he wants Nikki to love him.

The wish comes true almost instantly. Nikki is madly, passionately, dangerously in love with Bear. The more it bothers him, the colder his feelings become. But Nikki keeps burning with desire, and as the romantic imbalance grows, she begins to behave like a madwoman.

Bear would like to take back his wish, but the shop owner gives him advice he didn't want to hear: the spell can only be broken by death - preferably his own.
