Smoke - Summer Cinema

Among the films through which a generation of emerging filmmakers presented themselves in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Tomáš Vorel's "Smoke" holds an exceptional place. The comedy, subtitled "a musical of the totalitarian age", is claimed as a cult project both by the filmmaker's generational contemporaries - he was thirty-three at the time and unconventional - and by viewers who were only coming of age in 1990.
