Festival Dokola - Two Days When Circularity Comes Alive
Kampus Hybernská, Prague · Entry na většinu programu free, vybrané workshopy mají symbolický poplatek
Festival Dokola is a two-day event that opens the topic of circular economy to the general public - families, individuals, and businesses. Organized by INCIEN, which this year celebrates 11 years leading the circularity agenda in Czechia, it is the first festival of its kind in the country.
The programme features workshops where you can build a piece of furniture from scrap wood, repair a broken appliance, or learn to upcycle old clothes. It also includes lectures and discussions about circular Prague and the impact of consumer choices, the talk show "Let's Get Circular" hosted by Jitka Nováčková, a fashion show made from upcycled materials, an exhibition of Czech circular solutions, a clothing swap, and stand-up comedy on the theme of circularity.
Guests include Jitka Nováčková (festival ambassador), Veronika Dušková (Vedu clothing), Soňa Klepek Jonášová (INCIEN founder), Nataša Foltánová (founder of the Natasha brand), Pavla Antonínová (circular economy coordinator for Prague City Hall), and Tady Tali (comedian and influencer).
Entry to most of the programme is free; selected workshops have a symbolic fee. Some parts of the programme require advance registration via GoOut. More information at www.festivaldokola.cz.
The project is implemented with financial support from the City of Prague.
