Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man hopelessly in love with his coworker Nikki (Inde Navarrette) - except his feelings are matched only by his complete inability to ask her out. In desperation, he buys a mysterious toy from a dubious antique shop, one that supposedly grants a single wish. He doesn't hesitate: he wants Nikki to love him.

The wish comes true almost instantly. Nikki is passionately, wildly in love with Bear - so wildly that it starts to bother him. First a little, then a lot. The more he pulls away, the more she loses her mind, and her behavior becomes dangerous.

Bear would like to return the wish, but the shop owner isn't much help - or rather, he offers advice Bear didn't want to hear. The spell can only be broken by death. Preferably his.
