Divadlo Líšeň - Frogs (Dreams of an Old Grandfather)

A puppet grotesque about solitude, dreams, and friendship. The story of two famous frog friends - Quack and Splash from Arnold Lobel's book - is expanded with the character of a narrator, a lonely eccentric inhabitant of an old house.

In his garden, alongside the frogs (large wooden and leather hand puppets), live other creatures - wooden animals and glowing paper fish - which he dreamed up to chase away his solitude. The stage is made from bark, wood, and bamboo grown in the garden of woodcarver Antonín Maloň.
