Libor Šmoldas Organ Trio

Libor Šmoldas Organ Trio celebrates ten years of existence and is recording a live album during two August evenings, August 18 and 19. Libor Šmoldas on guitar, drummer Daniel Šoltis, and organist Jakub Zomer will perform mostly original compositions rooted in jazz tradition, blues, funk, and soul of the 1960s.

The band's sound is built on Libor's guitar, Daniel Šoltis's drums, and Jakub Zomer's authentic Hammond B3 organ - an instrument that is still not commonplace in Prague clubs. The trio has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, Melbourne Recital Centre, and at a festival in Yokohama.
