Petr Tomeček / Pan's Flute in Full Glory

Petr Tomeček performs a concert in the Marble Hall of Vsetín Castle. The programme features melodies across genres - "Love Story", music from "Once Upon a Time in the West", and the theme from "The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe". Between pieces, Tomeček speaks about the pan flute and his own musical journey with this instrument.

Tomeček studied at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava as a trumpeter and performed with the Prague Castle Guard Band, the National Theatre of Moravian-Silesian Region, and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. He studied pan flute under Liselotte Rokyta and German virtuoso Ulrich Herkenhoffer, and has personally met Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir, whose influence on his interpretation is fundamental.
