Sunday Dixie: J. J. Jazzmen & Lucie Radecká

The J. J. Jazzmen band was founded in 1993 under the direction of Jan Jirucha, who gave the band its name. With their programme "Remembrance of Louis Armstrong", they have performed worldwide - in Germany, Denmark, the USA, England, France, Switzerland and Italy.

In 2000, clarinetist Joe Muranyi, a former Armstrong bandmate and member of his "All Stars", performed with the band in Prague and Berlin. A year later, the band played at the famous New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in Louis Armstrong's birthplace.
