In the Footsteps of Jewish Kutná Hora

A guided walk through the centre of Kutná Hora exploring sites connected to the fates of notable Jewish figures from the city and its surroundings. The tour presents the history of the local Jewish community and its contribution to the cultural and social life of the region.

The route takes participants to the locations where two Kutná Hora synagogues once stood and includes a stop at a Holocaust memorial in front of one of the former synagogues. The walk lasts approximately 60-75 minutes.

Walks take place on 23 July and 14, 20, and 27 August at 10:00 and 14:00. Meeting point is at the T.G. Masaryk statue in front of Vlašský dvůr on Havlíčkovo náměstí. The guide is Jana Bitalová, a lecturer, historian, and writer.

Ticket proceeds support the Dr. Dagmar Lieblová Foundation and the restoration of the synagogue in Čáslav.
