Birthday Party

The film Birthday Party is set in the late 1970s somewhere in the Mediterranean. The main character is Marcos Timoleón, a magnate in the style of Aristotle Onassis, who hosts a lavish birthday celebration for his daughter and sole heir Sofia on his private island. The celebration becomes an occasion for various people from Marcos's life to gather, each with their own intentions.

Marcos, accustomed to controlling everything and everyone around him without hesitation, secretly prepares a decisive intervention in his daughter's life. Sofia, meanwhile, has uncomfortable news for him. Guests arrive, night falls, and the celebration becomes increasingly wild and decadent - while the clash between father and daughter draws inexorably closer.
