Bastardi: Where Is Majer? (Czech Republic) 2D

Teacher Majer (Tomáš Magnusek) is lured by his friend (Zdeněk Godla) to an old farmstead, where a hired killer (Sensey) awaits him—sent by the last surviving member of the Dostál family (Jiří Krampol). Meanwhile, at a newly opened school that Majer is supposed to lead, all his former students wait in vain—each one completely dependent on the man who never showed up.

Four of the "bravest" decide to find Majer. They recruit a Romani wanderer, Attila (Július Oračko), as their guide and embark on an original journey with a mismatched group that has never ventured beyond the shopping zone on the edge of town. In a van marked "Where Is Majer?" they search for their teacher in places connected to his life.

Along the way they set a hotel on fire, sink the van, get caught by police, get into a fight, and lose all their money—yet they remain determined: they must find Majer.
