Birthday Party

The film Birthday Party takes place in the late 1970s somewhere in the Mediterranean. Marcos Timoleón (Willem Dafoe), a magnate in the style of Aristotle Onassis, throws a lavish birthday celebration on his private island for his daughter and sole heir Sofia (Vic Carmen Sonne).

The celebration becomes an opportunity for various people from Marcos's life to pursue their own agendas. Marcos, accustomed to controlling everything and everyone around him, secretly prepares a major intervention in his daughter's life - but Sofia has some unpleasant news of her own.

As guests arrive, night falls and the celebration becomes increasingly wild and decadent, while the clash between father and daughter inexorably moves toward its climax.
