Zuzana Navarova's Songwriting

The Liberec ensemble TAKHRAJ presents a musical evening titled "Angelic Count" - a tribute to the songwriting of Zuzana Navarova from 1999-2004. The programme features well-known and lesser-known songs, poems set to music, and commentary on the circumstances of their creation and Zuzana's musical philosophy.

These are not the hits from her Nerezu period, but a more intimate part of her work - songs that Navarova herself said best reflected her inner world and outlook on life. For vocalist Gabriela Medwell, this repertoire is a personal commitment: to carry forward the legacy of an artist whose songs continue to resonate with new generations of listeners.
