Milan Svoboda Quartet

A quartet led by pianist, conductor and composer Milan Svoboda, a long-standing figure in the Czech jazz scene. At Jazz Dock, the group premiered the live album Moment's Notice — an immediate recording of the ensemble in a specific place and time. In late 2016, the quartet released the new album Pozdní sběr. Milan Svoboda's music draws from the tradition of modern jazz, fusion and other influences, referencing artists such as Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and Gil Evans (piano; saxophone; bass; drums).
