Incorrigible

A madcap French comedy about an irresistible con artist who is conquered by love.

Fresh out of prison, Viktor Vauthier doesn't pause for a moment - he sells his mistress Helena's house, arranges a fake sale of a luxury yacht, and the same day seduces the yacht buyer's wife. At home, Kamil is waiting to prepare him for a curator's visit: Viktor is to play a dim-witted gardener. But the curator turns out to be a woman - and a very charming one at that. Viktor drops the act immediately and invites Charlotte to lunch, then dinner, then to a traveling circus. She's delighted and invites the whole group to her place - to a museum, where her father is director, to see a famous El Greco painting.

Kamil is thrilled at the prospect of the perfect heist. Viktor resists because he loves Charlotte, but eventually gives in. The parents are lured to a fake dinner at the minister's, Viktor and Charlotte go to the theatre, and Kamil and Raul steal the painting. The heist succeeds, the ransom arrives - but Viktor realizes the girl loves him and returns the money to her. Yet another surprise awaits him.
