Fifty-year-old Olga lives in a meticulously kept apartment in the heart of Mexico City, keeping everything firmly under control - until circumstances force her to rent out a spare room. Her new roommate doesn't arrive alone: he secretly brings his nine-year-old son Cristian with him.

Olga initially reacts to the boy's presence with reluctance, but gradually discovers an unexpected connection with him - not least through their shared passion for arcade games.
