Otondo Odera feels himself to be a god chosen for higher purposes: he survived the moment of his birth in the middle of a forest surrounded by hyenas, cooked for a bloodthirsty dictator, and escaped an attack by a hippopotamus, in which apparently dwells the spirit of a warrior who returned to avenge his enemies.
