Petr Tomeček / Pan's Flute in Full Glory

Petr Tomeček's concert "Pan's Flute in Full Glory" takes place at the Synagogue in Kolín. The programme features well-known melodies across genres - "Love Story", music from the film "Once Upon a Time in the West", and the theme from "The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe". Between pieces, Tomeček speaks about the pan flute and his own journey with the instrument.

Tomeček originally studied trumpet at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and performed with the Prague Castle Guard Band, the National Theatre of Moravian-Silesia, and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. He studied pan flute under Liselotte Rokyta and German virtuoso Ulrich Herkenhoffer; he also met personally with Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir, the legendary "king of the pan flute".

Tomeček performs regularly throughout the Czech Republic and abroad.
