Odyssey

Description was written before the event
Odysseus, king of the Greek island of Ithaca, is credited by legend and Homer as the inventor of the famous Trojan Horse, which sealed Troy's fate. After the battles end, he yearns for only one thing - to return home to his wife Penelope and son Telemachus. Yet his bold deeds have angered the gods, and they make his journey home far more difficult. This is why the word "odyssey" has become synonymous with a journey fraught with obstacles that push the wanderer further from his goal rather than closer to it.
While Odysseus faces giants, the enchantress Circe, and other perils, his wife Penelope at home resists the suitors who seek both her hand and the kingdom of Ithaca.
