Sunday Dixie: Champagne Lovers Band

Champagne Lovers Band will perform as part of the regular Sunday Dixie series at Jazz Dock.

Champagne Lovers Band was founded in 2016 as a street jazz quintet - initially playing at Old Town Square, later on Charles Bridge. Their repertoire features sung dixieland and swing standards, both well-known and lesser-known pieces.

The band prefers to play acoustically or with minimal amplification for vocals, to fully harness the dynamics of the instruments and the improvisational skills of the musicians. The instrumental lineup includes trumpet, clarinet, guitar, French horn (or drums), double bass, and vocals.
