Drink & Draw: Tove

The Drink & Draw art workshop combines selected beverages from Edison Filmhub's café with an art masterclass led by the DRAWetc studio. Each participant takes home their own artwork. This edition is also part of the Prague Pride festival. The workshop is conducted primarily in English.

The evening continues with a screening of the Finnish film Tove (directed by Zaida Bergroth, 2022, 116 min.). Helsinki, 1945 - the end of the war brings painter Tove Jansson a sense of artistic and social freedom. The stories about the Moomins that she told to frightened children in air-raid shelters quickly took on a life of their own and brought her international fame. Her desire for freedom is then tested when she meets theatre director Vivica Bandler and experiences an all-consuming love with her.

The drawing workshop begins at 18:00, the film screening at 20:00. Tickets can be purchased as a combined package or separately for the workshop and screening.
