In the small town of Bayleen Bay, summer is scorching hot. Children enjoy their holidays, adults deal with their everyday worries, and nothing seems able to disturb the sleepy atmosphere of the little town. Then the ice cream man arrives... He hands out smiles, his van plays a familiar cheerful tune, and offers delicious ice cream that no child can resist. But after the first bite, something unsettling begins to happen. The children change. They become aggressive, unpredictable, and increasingly dangerous. As the town descends into chaos, a handful of those who resisted try to figure out who the mysterious ice cream man is and why he chose them.
