Elena Helfrecht - Plexus

German artist Elena Helfrecht explores historical trauma and coming to terms with the past in the Plexus project. After her grandmother's death, she returns to the family estate in Bavaria, transforming the old house into a surreal stage and archival materials into protagonists of an allegorical play.
