Fallen Fruit

Two young women work in a textile factory in industrial Rangoon, facing exhaustion, social pressure, and economic uncertainty. The harsh rhythm of daily life stifles genuine human connection - yet neither stops longing for closeness and escape. When they draw near to each other, long-suppressed emotions begin to awaken.

Director Aung Phyoe's debut film unfolds in shades of silence, small gestures, and unspoken desires. In the tension between tenderness and rawness, it asks how female desire survives in a country where intimacy and love between women remain socially unacceptable.
