The production Clogged System is based on the short-story collection and film screenplay by Scottish writer Irvine Welsh, "The Acid House". The protagonists are young people unable to escape the hopelessness of their lost existence - Welsh's world is raw, full of drugs, harsh language and football, but beneath the dark humour lies a powerful generational statement.
